Sandakphu

About Sandakphu

Sandakphu (3,636 meters / 11,929 ft) is the highest peak in West Bengal, India, and a part of the Singalila Ridge in the Eastern Himalayas. It lies on the India-Nepal border and offers breathtaking panoramic views of four of the world’s five highest peaks: Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu.

This destination is famous for its rhododendron forests, stunning sunrise/sunset views, and the famous "Sleeping Buddha" formation (a mountain range resembling a reclining Buddha).
